
Our work
Introduction
To create better outcomes for more children and families, we need to be strategically focused.
In 2016 we developed three Strategic Aims to help us do this:
- Stronger Families
- Safer Childhoods
- Positive Futures.
We committed to investing our voluntary funding1 into six priority areas which will help us to grow and build our expertise:
- Early Support
- Family Support Services
- Mental Health
- Child Abuse and Exploitation
- Looked After Children (e.g. family placements)
- Leaving Care / Accommodation Support
By focusing on these service areas, we aim to reach more children and young people. However, we know that vulnerable children often have entrenched problems which we cannot fix through working solely with children and their families. To have an even greater impact we also need to influence the wider systems around children. We have invested in three Core Priority Areas to focus this work:
